Our research findings in the Mafi Atitekpo area revealed that they have only one source of drinking water. This source of water unacceptably is shared with livestock:

- As a result, they suffer many waterborne diseases in that area due to the unsafe nature of their source of water.
- The basic schools in the area and indeed many households, have no reliable places of convenience, especially, places for the schoolgirls to access when they need to clean up or change their sanitary pads.
Decision I: We are looking for a sponsor who will assist us by providing pipe borne and potable water for the area. We have consulted the Member of Parliament for the area as well as the Assembly officer and his men on this intent.
Decision II: We are also looking forward to providing clean, hygienic and reliable places of convenience for females separate from that which is used by males. This will go a long way to keep the girls in school even when they are in their menses.
